POET CHRISTOPHER ( = Christopher Allen BREIDINGER)

No one owns the water

No one owns the water.

No one owns the lands.

No one owns the oceans.

No one owns the sands.

These are given by our Mother.

Our planet provides for free.

Only by hands of the greedy

does the Earth require a fee

Love

Love has no gender.

Love has no bias.

Love doesn’t discriminate.

Love doesn’t judge us.

Love is not religion.

Love is not science.

Love can only be

Our heart and soul alliance

/////////////////////////

When I need your support
you turn me away.

When I need you to speak,

you’ve nothin to say.

When I need your love,

you show me your hate.
When I need your faith,

you leave me to fate.

Compassion and equality.
This who we’re supposed to be.
Poor and tired, come to me,
We’ll bet he torch for the free.
We’ll stand together gracefully.
We’ll make those lies reality.
We’ll be the truth of liberty.
Now, remove the blindfold,
And let justice see.

/////////////////////////

When I was blind,

I wished that I could see,
When I could see,
I wished that I was blind
Because what I could see
Weighed heavy on my mind.

The stairway to heaven or the highway to hell?

Which path did we choose? Who can really tell?
The price for our living is our life set to sell

But the species is sick and the Earth is not well.

There’s something here rotten, we all can smell

But pointing it out might land us in a cell.

The whole system’s broken. This is the death knell.

Freedom is fissured like the liberty bell.
